IONIC is a full duplex communications system built to demonstrate optical comms at large distances. IONIC utilizes Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs) to simultaneously send and receive data at up to 1 Mbps.

This custom mach-zehnder interferometer with realtime transimpedance amplifier detectors is the basis for future quantum optics experiments to be conducted. Using a Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA), both optical detectors are simultaneously read and processed for experiment analysis.

M.I.K.E. is a mixed-reality heads-up display designed to support astronaut operations and mission planning. The system combines augmented reality visualization with wireless communication tools for data input and situational awareness.
